We are back this February with our 67th annual competition to crown a new Queen of the Detroit United Irish Societies!
Contestant Qualifications:
Must be of Irish descent, a resident of the State of Michigan, and have a valid passport
Must be between the ages of 17-24 (if 17 MUST be 18 by June 1st, 2026)
Must be single, never married, nor had children
Must not be a previous Queen or Maid of Erin
$35 Application fee paid at rehearsal
IMPORTANT 2026 DATES:
Sunday, February 8th (12:30 PM) - Competition rehearsal at Monaghan Knights of Columbus (Livonia, MI)
Saturday, February 14th (4:30 PM contestants arrive, 5:30 PM doors open, 6-8:30 PM Competition) - Competition Night at Monaghan Knights of Columbus (Livonia, MI)
Sunday, February 22rd (1-7 PM) - Parade Kickoff Fundraiser at AOH Hall
Friday, March 13th (11:30 AM) - Painting of the Shamrocks at the Irish Plaza
Sunday, March 15th (Time TBD) - Live TV interviews followed by Mass and the Parade
Tuesday, March 17th (12 PM) - St. Patrick's Day Mass at Most Holy Trinity
Tuesday, September 22nd (Time TBD) - Detroit Tigers Irish Heritage Night
Sunday, November 1st (11 AM) - UIS Memorial Mass
June (14th Time TBD) - Motor City Irish Fest Mass

In addition to your forms below, a $35 application fee (cash or check) will be collected at the Competition Rehearsal.
